More
cyclists wanted for epic trip
Charity bike ride organisers are in search of
more cyclists to join them on an epic adventure
from Thailand to Cambodia.
The 372-mile challenge from Bangkok to Angkor
Wat has been organised by Hampton-on-the-Hill
resident John Yarnold who hopes it will raise
?100,000 for Myton Hospice and Macmillan Cancer
Support.
Some 22 cyclists have so far signed up for the
trip from April 30 to May 11 next year, but
Mr Yarnold hopes another 23 will join them.
He said: "It will be great fun and you
will get a real sense of satisfaction at the
end and also feel extremely fit.
"The trip is for charity and participants
will get to see beautiful parts of Thailand
and Cambodia that you wouldn't see on a normal
holiday.
"People
don't need to be super-fit athletes to take
part, but it is a challenge and you will need
some will power."
