President of Tajikistan presented

Today, Tajik President Emomali Rakhmon attended the inauguration of a UN regional center for preventive diplomacy and the international conference "Preventive Diplomacy and International Cooperation."

As the Ashgabat correspondent of Turkmenistan.ru reports, speaking at the Rukhiet Palace in Ashgabat, Emomali Rakhmon said Tajikistan is prepared to establish very close and constructive cooperation with a newly opened UN center for preventive diplomacy in the name of peace and global security.

Then, the president of Turkmenistan and the president of Tajikistan visited the Akhalteke equestrian complex. According to the old Turkmen tradition, Emomali Rakhmon, as a dear and honorable guest, was presented with the dun stallion called Dyar.

In the second half of the day, the Tajik president flew to the seaside town of Turkmenbashi from the international airport in Ashgabat. He familiarized himself with projects for development of the national tourist zone Avaza in Turkmenbashi.
