Oman Air appoints Syria sales agent

National flag carrier Oman Air has appointed Julia Dumna as its General Sales Agent (GSA) in Syria.

The move, according to Abdulrazaq Alraisi, the airline’s senior sales manager, is part of the company’s strategy to expand services in the Middle East.

“We are certain that with an experienced and professional company like Julia Dumna, Oman Air will get the necessary support to develop its business in Syria once the service is launched and enhance its presence among holiday travellers in the GCC and Middle East region,” Alraisi added.

He said the carrier was always on the lookout for new opportunities to expand its operations in the region, and internationally.

Oman Air is due to launch services to London on November 26 and to Bangkok on November 28.
