Mexico debut against St. Kitts

by SportsYA

Mexico will make their debut in 2010 World Cup Concacaf Qualifiers opener against the winner of the cap between Belize and Saint Kitts and Nevis.

The team coached by Hugo Sanchez will debut in second round against Belize or Saint Kitts and Nevis to advance to third round, when they will face three more teams. Mexico's first cap is scheduled by mid June, from 11 to 22.

FIFA made the draw at the Commerce International Center in Durban, the third most important city in South Africa. FIFA also led the draws to Europe, Asia and Africa.

United States will make their debut against the winner of Dominica-Barbados, while Costa Rica will make their debut against the winner of American Virgin Islands-Grenada.

The first round will be held from February 6 to March 26 between 22 teams from North, Central America and Caribbean; they will be first-leg, second-leg caps, and the winners will advance to the next round.
