Qatar Airways may borrow

Qatar Airways may borrow more than $1 billion within the next 4-8 weeks to finance purchases of planes worth $13.5 billion announced earlier in the week, Chief Executive Akbar al-Baker said at the Dubai air show on Tuesday.

"We have still not decided. It will be within 4-8 weeks," he said. Asked how much could be borrowed, he said: "It will be more than $1 billion."
