Festival launched in Malaysia to attract more
visitors
China's Macao Government Tourist Office (MGTO)
launched the Macao Festival in Kuala Lumpur
on Thursday in a bid to attract more Malaysian
visitors to Macao.
The launch was officiated by Tunku Iskandar,
the Group President of Pacific World Travel
and MGTO Representative in Malaysia.
The
Macao Festival, running from Oct. 18 to 21,
showcases the lively destination of Macao, with
its unique blend of Western and Oriental Cultures.
Attractions
at the festival, aimed at enabling families
and individuals to "Experience Macao",
includes Portuguese folk dances, Chinese acrobatics,
soprano and tenor performances, cabaret dances,
games, limbo rock competition, clowns with balloons,
tattoo artists, lucky draw and prize giving
ceremony, and free culinary delicacies from
Macao.
