Lovers of Malaysian cuisine will be in for an unforgettable treat as Tourism Malaysia hosts a Food and Cultural fair in October at the Shangri-La Hotel, Sydney.

Director of Tourism Malaysia Sydney, Mr Shahrin Mokhtar, says the fair will be a great opportunity to enjoy the unique atmosphere while feasting on new and traditional Malaysian dishes, including the very popular Laksa.

“Malaysian cuisine is for those who enjoy a fusion of exotic Asian flavours,” says Shahrin.

“It is a fusion symbolic of the country itself.

“No where in the world will one find such the unique combination that comprise the Malaysian cuisine.

“The Malays, Chinese, Indians and Baba Nyonyas each contribute their individual tastes and culture to make up this amazing gastronomy.
