Kuwait rejects claims against Iran
by Tehran Times
TEHRAN (Press TV) -- Kuwait dismissed allegations by a Kuwaiti newspaper that the Islamic Republic is spying on the country using commercial boats.
The Kuwaiti Interior Minister Sheikh Jaber al-Khalid al-Sabah rejected such allegations against Iran and stressed that Kuwait was totally secure.
The minister added Kuwait's security officials are well aware of the critical conditions in the Middle East at the present juncture, adding that they are on alert against all possible threats.
A Kuwaiti paper had claimed on Sunday that the country's security forces had seized several radio transmission devices mounted on Iranian commercial boats, alleging that the devices could plug into Kuwait's military radio communications.
