PP Ready to Change Gibraltar

The Spanish Opposition party Partido Popular has announced plans to change Spanish foreign policy in areas such as Gibraltar if they were to be elected into Government in the forthcoming elections in Spain next year.

Whilst in Gibraltar the GSD Governing party had claimed that the Cordoba Agreement could not be changed by any of the three parties involved, Spanish opposition parties, in the same ways as local opposition parties, have continued to express their desire to change some of the agreement made during the first Tripartite Forum Agreement.
