British Airways new Gibraltar

British Airways is launching new shorthaul routes from Heathrow, Gatwick and London City airports from March 30, 2008. The airline will start flights from Heathrow to Malaga and from Gatwick to Alicante, Faro, Gibraltar, Ibiza, Malaga, Palma and Tunis.
British Airways decision will increase the number of flights from the UK to Gibraltar after EasyJet took over GB Airways and is expected to continue flights to Gibraltar.
However, the new British Airways route to Gibraltar as from March has seen GB Airways left out of the information route. Sources close to GB Airways have indicated that the first indications that such routes were being sold through local agents came only after advise from local travel agents. GB Airways not having any details of the decision.
