Windstar takes you island hopping in the Caribbean

By

If your ideal cruise is intimate, luxurious and romantic then you will love Windstar’s 7-night Caribbean cruise. Visiting some of the world’s most scenic beaches and picturesque towns, the 308-passenger msy Wind Surf delivers the ultimate holiday cruise.

Featuring seven self-furling sails, the motor sailing yacht glides from one port to the next as she sails from Barbados to the small fishing and boat building town of Bequia in the Grenadines, and then on to the capital of Dominica, Roseau.

Next up is Pigeon Island, St Lucia – once a pirates hideaway and now featuring the ruins of old English forts. St Lucia also boasts spectacular reef for divers and twin volcanic peaks rising more than 2,400 feet.

msy Wind Surf makes her way to the second port in Grenadines, Mayreau, where you will have your choice of beautiful beaches to wander, including Salt Whistle Bay and Saline Bay.  French and English culture combine at St George’s in Grenada and contrast with your final port, Tobago, a West Indian haven of music, folklore and customs.

The 7-night cruise combines relaxed beaches, picturesque towns and the ultimate sea adventure as you venture into small harbours and mingle with yachties, boat builders and fisherman.

msy Wind Surf is the largest yacht in the Windstar fleet, spanning 187 metres in length. All 154 deluxe staterooms and suites have ocean views and feature luxurious amenities as part of the fleet’s Degrees of Difference program which includes renovated bathrooms with granite counters, L’Occitaine toiletries, state-of-the-art digital sound systems, Apple iPod Nanos, flatscreen televisions and DVD/CD players.

In addition to shore excursions, a wide range of water sports are on offer from kayaking, snorkeling, scuba diving, windsurfing, waterskiing and sailing.  There is also a fitness centre and spa to while away your days at sea.

Prices for the 7-night cruise start at AU$6,205 per person, twin share and include all meals, entertainment and activities whilst cruising. Taxes of US$70 are additional. (Valid for travel 9, 16, 23, 30 March 2008.)

Travel the World can assist with airfares, transfers and pre- and post-cruise accommodation.  For further information or to make a booking with Windstar, contact Travel the World on 02-8296 7073 or visit the website www.traveltheworld.com.au.
