Tobacco Company With New Costa Rica

The new operation will provide services such as accounting, financial planning, human resources, distribution and corporate services to 31 countries. Plans are in place to hire about 200 workers for the complex, which is to be called BATCCA Park.

The Regional Director for Central America and the Caribbean, Federico Jenkins, explains that the facility will serve as the heart of the company’s operations in this part of the world and will generate more than 400 processes.

British American Tobacco is the second largest listed tobacco company in the world and is based in London, England. Its international brands include Dunhill, Kent, Lucky Strike, Pall Mall, and Viceroy. Currently its market capitilazation is over 60 billion dollars.
