Customers Invited to Book Flights to China
For the first time ever, Delta Air Lines' (NYSE:DAL)
customers can now book convenient nonstop flights
between Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International
Airport and Shanghai, China, for service beginning
March 30, 2008*. Delta today published fares
and schedules for the first-ever nonstop flights
offered by any airline between China and the
Southeastern United States.
"Delta is ready and excited to connect
the world's largest airline hub in Atlanta to
Shanghai, the fast-growing cultural and economic
capital of China," said Bob Cortelyou,
Delta's senior vice president - Network Planning.
"We have strategically scheduled flight
times between Atlanta and Shanghai to ensure
optimal connections for customers from throughout
the United States and from our large international
connecting network, especially in Latin America."
Flights will be operated daily using Boeing
777 aircraft in a two-class configuration featuring
BusinessElite, Delta's award-winning business
class service.
