Fitch Ratings said it has affirmed Suzano Papel e Celulose SA's 'AA-(bra)' national scale rating with a stable outlook citing the company's leading position in Brazil's printing and writing paper and paperboard markets.
The ratings also factor in the company's large forestry base, which assures it of a competitive production cost structure in the future and provides it with organic growth opportunities, the ratings agency said.
The ratings agency also affirmed with a stable outlook the 'AA-(bra)' ratings of Suzano's Brazilian real denominated debentures due in 2012 and 2014.
