Angola: Italy Eyes Revitalisation

Cooperation ties between the governments of Angola and of Italy in the territory organisation field might be revitalised soon, announced Thursday, in Luanda, the Angolan deputy minister of Urbanisation and Environment, Carla Leitão.
According to the governing official, the desire to revitalise the cooperation was expressed by her counterpart of Foreign Affairs of Italy, Patrizia Sentinelli, at a meeting held at the Urbanisation and Environment Ministry.
Carla Leitão added that the interchange might cover the sectors of housing, methods and typology in the elaboration of urban planning and management tools, through the UN Habitat, an institution aimed at supporting countries' urban development.

The Italian Foreign Affairs deputy minister, Patrizia Sentinelli, in the country since Tuesday, already met with various top Angolan government officials such as the minister of Family and Women Promotion, Cândida Celeste, and paid a courtesy visit to the headquarters of the ruling "MPLA" party.
The agenda of the Italian official in Angola reserves separate meetings with the principal of Agostinho Neto University, João Teta, with the deputy ministers of Health and Justice, José Van-Dúnem and João Alves Monteiro, respectively.
Patrizia Sentinelli, in the country at the invitation of her Angolan counterpart, leaves the country's capital (Luanda) on Friday morning.
