Algeria stress parliamentary ties

In a meeting on Tuesday, Iran's Ambassador to Algiers Hossein Abdi Abyaneh, and Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Algerian National Popular Assembly Abdelhamid Si Afif called for stronger parliamentary ties between the two countries.
During the meeting, Si Afif congratulated the Iranian nation and government on what he termed the country's various achievements.
He also commented on a cooperation protocol signed between the Iranian and Algerian parliaments, saying that it sets the stage for enhancement of mutual parliamentary ties.
The Iranian ambassador said that he hoped diplomacy between the two parliaments would lead to boosting relations, especially in the economic sector.
Abdi Abyaneh also spoke of the importance of Iran's Majlis and the vital role it plays in his country.
