Some 54 public and private firms have confirmed their participation at this year’s four-day World Travel Market Fair scheduled to start at Excel in the British capital of London on Monday.
Tanzania Tourist Board\’s Director of Marketing, Amant Macha, told APA in an exclusive interview here that “right now an area of 278 square metres has been booked for the Tanzania stand.”
Tanzania is taking part in the exhibition for the 18th consecutive time this year.
The director said the event will attract participants from all over the world, mostly travel trade professionals, with few visitors.
So far, the government had enabled the board to carry out smooth preparations by paying for the remaining 70 per cent of the space and construction of a single-storey pavilion to cater for the Tanzanian participants, he added.
