"Boar's Head and Yule Log Festival," 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Ridgeway Community Church of the Brethren, fellowship hall, 525 N. Progress Ave., Susquehanna Twp. The festival is a medieval Christmas celebration, set in the court of King Wenceslas. The tradition of presenting a boar's head to the king as a Christian celebration is symbolic of good triumphing over evil. It combines music, dancing and drama, and concludes with the retelling of the birth of Christ. Tickets are free but should be reserved in advance by calling the church office: 545-4542.
