New Egypt resorts for First Choice

The largely undiscovered resort of Marsa Alam in Egypt has been introduced for next summer by First Choice

Described by the operator as an “upcoming exclusive destination”, Marsa Alam is joined by Makadi, 35km from Hurghada, in the company’s Egypt 2009 first edition brochure.

First Choice is featuring Dreams Beach resort, a four-sun all-inclusive property in Marsa Alam and four-plus sun premier Iberotel Makadi Saraya Resort in Makadi.

Prices in Marsa Alam start at £549 per adult for seven nights and £299 per child from Gatwick in June 2009.

Egypt product manager Rebecca Hamshaw said: “First Choice has a dedicated Egypt brochure to highlight the continued success of the destination and for the first time includes the growing resort of Marsa Alam.

“The brochure also features the ever popular resorts of Luxor, Sharm-el-Sheikh, Taba, Hurghada and El Gouna and offers a range of twin and multi-centre options to really make the most of guest’s time in Egypt.

“First Choice also flies to Egypt from a number of regional UK airports making this an easily accessible destination.”

Also published is the operator’s second edition Tropical 2009 brochure covering more than 190 properties.

New to the programme is the Taita Hills Retreat safari lodge in Kenya.

Prices at the lodge lead in at £899 per adult for even nights, based on two sharing in May next year from Gatwick.
